Safety Manager

We are looking for a Safety & Claims Manager to join OCMC Trucking Inc., a flatbed trucking company. The ideal candidate will manage safety compliance, insurance claims, and promote a safety-first culture.
Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in safety management/claims handling (trucking industry)
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office; safety management software experience
Safety certification is a plus
Fluent in both written and spoken English

Schedule: Remote, 16:00 — 00:00 (Monday-Friday)
Salary: $1,500 - $2,000 (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain safety programs and policies
Organize safety training sessions
Handle insurance claims, documentation, and follow-ups
Investigate accidents and incidents, providing detailed reports
Liaise with insurance adjusters and legal reps to resolve claims
Monitor and report safety metrics
Ensure company compliance with safety regulations
Collaborate with management and HR to promote a safe work environment
