Superstar Backend Developer required for a Hollywood blockbuster.
Fabric is an award winning platform, revolutionizing the Data Management field for the Broadcast and Film industry. Currently, working with the biggest names in the field such as WarnerMedia, Paramount Global, Fox, Amazon Studios, Epix, Sinclair, A+E Networks, Pokémon, Funimation, and more.
Our Code Base
Codebase is written using SOLID principles. We avoid premature optimization and over-engineering. We have clear borders between dev, staging and live environments. On the verge of automating processes, including deployment.
What you'll do
You will be writing new end-to-end features, improving backend flows and creating new ones. You will be combining service-oriented and monolith architectures written in both PHP and JS. While most of our regular day to day backend has been written in PHP's Laravel.
We have a global culture of collaboration and partnerships with the world's top technology providers. We are looking for people who enjoy a variety of engineering tasks and conversations over the future of the architecture and product.
Requirements
- Significant experience in full stack web development including a deep understanding of how to build and support performant web applications
- Experience with PHP, Javascript and Node.js application development (5+ years with at least 5-10 years total experience in software engineering)
- Experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel)
- JavaScript experience with React.js Framework
- Unit Testing Experience
- Service oriented architecture (SOA)
- Experience with AWS native services such as ElasticSearch, Lambda
Nice to Have
- GraphQL API experience
- Experience with Databases (MySQL, MongoDB etc.) will be very well regarded
- Serverless Architectures
- Experience with content management systems
- Well-factored codebases with thorough test coverage, async / await are familiar patterns for you
