AMSoft Group is an IT company dedicated to innovation and cutting-edge technology solutions. As we continue to grow, we're expanding our team and looking for passionate professionals eager to contribute to exciting projects for our new client. If you're ready to join a dynamic environment that values creativity and collaboration, we invite you to apply for our newly open position!
MLOps – (Mid+/Senior)
Client / Project description:
The client is the largest InsurTech you've never heard of – they are building technology to revolutionize how the world's most complex assets are insured. Need to insure your satellite launch? Looking for cover for your multi-nation fast food chain? Preparing to stage an iconic music festival in a field? There isn't a price comparison website for that. Lloyd's of London is the global market place for bespoke insurance, where our client is the leading digital underwriter. How insurance is underwritten here hasn't changed in 300 years – until now. They're building technology to revolutionize how these unique risks are covered.
Skills:
MLOps role has been defined in the following way:
1. The person should have REAL hands-on expertise in K8s (on GCP). Real - meaning - worked with that, set up deployment charts, managed operators, managed nodes etc. In our (XPL) world it means - devops with k8s skills. Sample task in Ki project: setup Horizontal Pod Autoscaler; deploy pods using Machine Learning model images with helm chart; setup observability on the cluster etc.
2. The person should have experience in working with event-driven architectures, based on PubSub (GCP) or - in general - pub/sub pattern. Sample tasks are around creating and improving pipelines - NOT implementing transformations but - instead - ensuring that the infrastructure and software components lead to correct data ingestion to feature store, or preparing the infrastructure components deployments, managing consumers etc.
3. The person should understand the basics of data engineering - like what's the difference between data warehouse and data lake. How data are stored in both and what are the specifics. It was NOT mentioned as something being a part of the person's responsibility but I can imagine that such person should be able to create BigQuery instance or manage data lake components as a devops.
4. Nice-to-have is understanding feature stores and how to build schemas. That's not something required but this person should be willing to learn at least.
Type of work: Remote
If you're excited about the opportunity, join our team and enjoy an attractive salary package that reflects your expertise and dedication.
