Senior frontend developer

Purpose
The Frontend Developer contributes to the build out and improvement of the Fintech Galaxy’s platform, FINX, along
with other supporting products. The Frontend Developer will be building Portal UIs based on design prototypes,
integrating with APIs, creating new services and maintaining existing ones.

Requirements
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or comparable experience
- 6+ years of programming experience in JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience in User Interface (UI) development on JS Libraries/Frameworks (React experience required)
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, MVC, TypeScript
- Understanding of Architecture Patterns, Design Patterns, SOLID, DRY and OWASP
- Used to working in a CI/CD delivery environment where Code Review, automated tests, and code quality/style tools are key
- Ability to write readable, self-documented code
- Have intermediate (or higher) English skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understand and have experience with MUI framework
- Understand the fintech industry and open banking
- Are used to working in a fast-paced startup environment

Role and Responsibilities
- Design and implement components/features of Fintech Galaxy’s platform and supporting products, in accordance with the business and functional requirements.
- Ensure platform meets all requirements of quality, security, scalability, etc.
- Optimize platform and its components for maximum speed and scalability.
- Develop Open Banking/Open Finance applications.
- Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.
- Code, test, and operate services, perform needed maintenance and updates.
- Effective use of tools to identify and fix defects to mitigate technical risks and problems.
- Be the accountable person for the platform’s services and their end-to-end development process.
- Perform code review.
- Coach and onboard new team members.
